    I know that the ambiance is not very good, but I have been coming here since I was a kid, and the crispy tacos are !  Taco Tuesday can be a nightmare, but if you go early/late it is fine.

    After 30 years of going to El Charro and loving Taco Tuesday as a lifelong customer I felt disrespected.
    Many years we have lunch and drinks. In this particular Taco Tuesday it was my wife's birthday on 7-30-19 and we had poor service due to waiter was distracted, unresponsive, and no one brought a candle , cake, or flan.  We were there weekly as loyal customers and now feel like cow dung. No respect or honor for our 30 years as customers.
    Waiter made excite.   "It's taco Tuesday and I'm too busy".
    "Hijo de la chingada" mijo , peri no mas ahora.

    I'd like to give a review but the owner and cashier ignored us for almost 10 min. We stood at the counter while they talked about money and never once did they acknowledge us. It was 5 p.m. and the place was empty. Very rude and service was terrible(actually no service). Worst business ever, not taking about the food because we never got a chance to try, but as a business, this was the worst . Zero stars if I could.

    If I could put ZERO STARS I would... taco Tuesday and it's busy.. Took a while for the chips and salsa to be served. Even before getting water or ordering food, we were told by a waiter that "There's a lot of people waiting for their food and it will take an hour. Look this big table waiting for their food". It felt like he was implying we should leave which we did. Got up and left the table. WOW. NEVER AGAIN. I've NEVER felt so out of place being non Caucasian. I felt everyone's eyes on us as soon as we walked in. Montrose is known for being a racist little town with the older Caucasians. This place is the reason why... did they forget they have Hispanics cooking their food.  SMH
    FIRST AND LAST TIME HERE.

    Love coming here! Especially on Saturdays for their Saturday Specials! Great service and friendly staff! Love the $5 double margaritas! Great weekday specials too! Big servings.
